Consorzio ZAI sets up and manages areas of development, business and innovation.
In its 60-year activity ZAI developed a logistics and industrial system of 10 Mio sqm, including ‘ Interporto Quadrante Europa' , at the very crossroads between the rail & road European North-South, East-West axes.

Quadrante Europa is Italy and Europe's top landborne intermodal gateway: 2,5 Mio sqm logistics facilities, sound traffic performance (6,2 Mio tons by rail in 2009), direct access to rail / motorway networks and a wide range in services provided by ZAI itself (ICT, safety & security and train terminalization) and the over 120 leading freight forwarders, MTOs and 3PLs that base here.
Among them Schenker, Géodis, Kuehne + Nagel, ABX and many more.
Every day some 26 pairs of trains connect Quadrante Europa with Munich, Köln, Hamburg, Bremen, Rostock, Nürnberg, La Spezia and various other terminals in Northern and Eastern Europe, thus providing for excellent accessibility for logistics on a continent-wide scale.
